What Does It Mean To be saved?
First we need to know that we are sinners, that no one is righteous or good in God's eyes.
All are sinners
Romans 3:23 tells us "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." Every person who ever lived is a sinner. Every Christian is as bad as a sinner, just forgiven.
The Price of Sin
Romans 6:23 tells us "The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord"
My wrong doing earned me death, but Jesus paid the price for my sin
The offer of the gift of God is paid for by the shed blood of Jesus on the cross of Calvary.
Okay...now that I know I am a sinner, now what?
As simple as A B C Admit...Believe....Call
Admit your sin state
Tell God you know that you are a sinner
Believe that Christ died in your place and wants to save you
Tell God of your belief that Christ loved you enought to pay the price for your sin debt.
Call on God to save you and be your Lord.
Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. KJV
